About Us
When people hear that we have horses, they usually think of a fancy arena with a beautiful horse jumping over obstacles. That is not at all what we do! We take the old, abused, feral horses that are unwanted and buy them from slaughter houses. We have saved over 60 horses through our program and we love inviting people to our farm for special events to share these amazing animals. This nonprofit started when we learned that as many as 100,000 horses were being shipped from the United States to Canada or Mexico each year to be slaughtered. We are a 501c3 nonprofit that rescues horses from slaughter. We rehabilitate the horses on our farm and invite groups such as special needs children, foster children, veterans and first responders for weekends at our farm to enjoy these amazing rescue animals.
